Basic concepts
The initial position of the players is shown in Figure 1.
- The ball must be inflated to have a circumference of 12 inches.
- The tension in the net must be constant. A ball dropped from a height of 5 feet should bounce approximately 1 foot.
- Play a game of rock-paper-scissors where the winner chooses to serve, receive, or which side they want to play on. If a second set is played, the choices are reversed.
